Great to see close to 40 MPRT partners expanding their local tourism knowledge and networking really well at the Peninsula Hot Springs Industry Event. The evening was warm, the hosts informative, and the food was fabulous.

Guests were treated to a guided tour through the twinkling fairy lit paths that wind through the moonah trees to the brand new Clay Ridge experience with the amazing different sourced from around Australia for their varying medicinal, healing and beautifying properties. Plus we had a sneak peak into the plans for an amazing amphitheatre development with new pools, and the ability to host large group in privacy - or open it to the  public when not in use.

A quick and informative update from Katherine and Ebony about what the Tourism Team has been busy doing - there was quite a list - plus a reminder as to some great things coming up as well.

Then a lovely welcome by Brook Ramage (GM of Peninsula Hot Springs) who explained the philosophy behind the Hot Springs and the various charities they are involved in (such as Mental Assist). It's all about helping people to actively engage in their own well being. Something we all could learn from!

Quick introductions  all round helped break the ice and created some great buzz during the ensuing networking while we enjoyed the dulcet tones and beautiful guitar work of  Bonnie Edwards (she is available for gigs - contact her on indahsunmusic@gmail.com) and some amazing 'spa cuisine'. Check out the photos. Great to see a number of operators exchanging business cards and creating new connections. That's what it's all about!
