There are many online tools that you can subscribe to for  help and advice and also some really excellent references to give hints and tips on becoming and remaining sustainable in your workplace/business.

Firstly let's find out what can you can do Right Now

Of course the idea behind this is to not only save the

The Eco-Living Display Centre at The Briars Park, Mount Martha offers great advice and practical examples on how to retro-fit  energy saving ideas to your home or business.  The Centre is situated in an old house that has lots of examples of different styles of energy saving ideas (all retro-fitted) with relevant documentation to show their attributes. They also regularly run workshops.

MPT has a great new external display outside the front of the Mornington Peninsula Visitor Centre Dromana highlighting all the green initiatives that MPT members have undertaken.  They are also featured on a printable pdf  on www.visitmorningtonpeninsula.org so visitors can find out more about how green our members are.

If you are doing something "green" let us know so that we can let others know!

Energy Saving Initiatives

The VEET scheme is a Victorian Government initiative promoted as the Energy Saver Incentive. It commenced on 1 January 2009 and is administered by the Essential Services Commission (ESC).  The scheme was established under the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Act 2007 and is administered in accordance with the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Regulations 2008.

The VEET scheme is designed to make energy efficiency improvements more affordable, contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases, and encourage investment, employment and innovation in industries that supply energy efficiency goods and services.

Under the scheme, accredited businesses can offer discounts and special offers on selected energy saving products and appliances installed at homes, businesses or other non-residential premises. The bigger the greenhouse gas reduction, the bigger the potential saving.
