New to the international tourism game? Want the low down on what tourism trade shows are all about? This is the event for you.

The main game behind trade shows is to promote Australia and Melbourne as a premier travel destination. The majority are held within key international markets and bring together the Australian or Melbourne tourism industry, travel agents and travel wholesalers from around the world. Some of the names you’ve heard thrown around including; ATE (Australian Tourism Exchange), ITB (Internationale Tourismus Borse), Australia Week in China and VicBound.

ATE and VicBound are just around the corner so we’re pulling together a panel of experts to bring you up to speed on all elements of what tradeshows are all about, as well as provide you with tips and tricks on how to prepare and ensure you get the most out of attending a show.

Our expert panel includes;

Garry Burns - Director of Marketing at Sovereign Hill
Tania Jacobs - Business Development Manager, South and South East Asia at Tourism Victoria
Mia Sweeney – Destination & Contracting Manager at AOT Group
Narelle Welsh – Business Development Manager at Pegasus Apart’Hotel

Join us at Pegasus Apart'Hotel, 206 A'Beckett Street, Melbourne at 5:30pm on Wednesday 30 March!

Thank you to our event sponsors Gray Line Australia and AOT Group
