Visit Victoria is the State Tourism Organisation (STO) under which the Mornington Peninsula operates.

Visit Victoria is a State Government statutory authority. You can find out more about them at

Their focus is on industry growth, and they work under the Tourism Victoria Board, which is made up of 10 experienced private sector representatives, who focus business activity on four action goals:  Marketing; Tourism Investment and Air Services; Strategy and Policy; International and Executive Services Divisions.

Tourism Victoria also funds a network of Regional Tourism boards/organisations across the state.

"Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism" is the Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) for the greater geographic area covered by Mornington Peninsula Shire Council and the Frankston City Council.  It is a partnership based organisation.

The Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism Board (MPRTB) is the strategic body that defines the tourism activities and benefits for Mornington Peninsula Tourism members. The MPRTB receives direct funding from Tourism Victoria for a comprehensive range of activities, that are then also supported through industry buy-in.

Partnership with Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism gives local tourism businesses the opportunity to benefit directly from the Regional Tourism activities.

At a local level, there are a number Local Tourism Associations (LTA's) across the Mornington Peninsula. Each LTA conducts different activities for their members. By becoming member of a LTA, you will have access to the networking, cooperative planning and marketing activities they conduct.
